Disorders
Neurodevelopmental Disorders are a group of disorders with onset during infancy or childhood. They manifest as delayed or deviating development and have an impact on the child’s personal, social and learning abilities. Most Neurodevelopmental Disorders have a neurobiological basis and are caused by an abnormal neurophysiological development of the central nervous system.
Detection & Diagnosis
The early diagnosis and intervention by a multidisciplinary team, can lead to a significant improvement of the child’s condition. Early innervations, due to the brain’s plasticity in
early ages, can alleviate some deficiencies, reduce the manifestation of the disorder and prevent secondary complications, leading to the overall improvement of the child’s functioning and development.
